RECORD 17 / PUBLIC01 DIGITIZEDCenter City Billboard
Center City is the second largest of the three remaining cities in the United States, behind East Point and ahead of Capital West. Its former urban area was referred to as “Centerland”. As of 2070, the population was 4,799,999. Center City was originally established in 1837 and is in between the former Inland Seas and the Central River watershed. It grew quickly in the mid-19th century, emerging as the fifth largest global city. With the emergence and arrival of STORE CORP in the early 2000’s, Center City’s population doubled due to job growth and it became a hub for finance, trade, industry, technology and telecommunications, earning its nickname “The Five Star City”. It is one of the largest commerce markets of the world and remains the Central Headquarters for STORE CORP. Center City is known for being impeccably clean, with an active campaign against littering and stringent enforcement in place. It is also the “brightest” of the three continental cities, with the highest reserves and network of light paths.
